Allow me to also say, it is with great awkwardness that I try to bridge the secular world and the secluded religious community. I don't particularly fit in either. I have had the advantage of experiencing many cultural situations. The thing that connects my experiences is: most of the time, you can't lose anything you've earned, but you're not guaranteed anything. Whatever is not guaranteed is actively eroded by proxy within a system. That is why it is said of many things, you can't take it with you, you won't always have some things, you'll always have disappointments, you don't have to leave but you can't stay here.

On reflection, I have no clue what I meant by the previous comment. I think my feelings have changed on that somewhat. I do feel like church is a pretty positive experience for me overall.
