I have been asked to tone down my responses and stop trying to paraphrase the Bible. I will do that as a separate, private project later after careful thinking. It has come to my attention that there is fear among the elders in charity church group because of the risk of people separating if there is a conflict over too much or too few rules or changes. I cannot speak for any church. But allow me to speak for myself. It seemed for a time that God was dead in my life, but something made him come back to life for me, without receiving permanent housing and work obtainment assistance from any church. When I was thought better of, I had asked to be integrated into one of the charity church families in exchange for labor. The understanding of my situation was there but the lack of compassion grieved me. I began to lose hope that true Biblical kindness existed, or that it could actually challenge greed, and my life became unstable in a quest for the freedom that farming and building families might take for granted. I know that there may be resentment, and that apologies are futile. But if any criticism should happen that does not have to do with my current and most important project, it will not be taken personally. In fact it will be more encouragement to go deeper into God's word and follow it to the point of true Biblical generosity, if God wills it.

(I don't even have an actual project to speak of, but I would like to think I'm here for a reason).

It is also my hope to give personal testimony to charity church and to be questioned fully on all accounts if necessary.

I also thought it would be interesting to share an idea based on what dale was talking about on Friday night of the evening specials. I was thinking that anyone at any church could take the suggestion of having little pieces of paper to put in a box. It would be a church membership retention poll. On it they put "never" for if they would never leave the church for any reason. They would put "yes" and a reason why they would quit if they were thinking of it. They would put "want" and then their request if they simply wanted something to changed or be added even though they were not planning to leave. Of course, as always, elders/pastors would have the final say, and people could put more than one piece of paper in the box as they came up with more things to bring up for discussion.

That sounds like a very good idea - we have a similar thing in our church.
